Now you've visited our squadron and want to join! Fantastic! Here you will find step by step instructions on how to start your application. Haven't visited us? Here is how!

All new seniors are required to attend 3 meetings before the squadron commander can approve and submit the application to National Headquarters for processing. Simply fill out the application found below and bring it to the next meeting. NOTE: A completed FBI fingerprint card must be included with any application for individuals 18+ years of age. The squadron will be able to provide the FBI fingerprint card that you will include with your application when you mail off the application.

New Senior Member Application

Once your application has been submitted and approved, you will need to complete the following steps to become a full fledged member of the Plano Mustangs Composite Squadron. Here you will learn the basics of being a Senior CAP Member.

1. Sign Up and log in to Civil Air Patrol's e-Services

2. Complete the online course: OPSEC (Operational Security) (Must be logged in)

3. Complete the online course: General Emergency Services (Must be logged in)

   • Go to AXIS -> "Course Catalog" tab -> Enroll in "CAPT 116 General ES"

4. Complete the online cluster of courses for Level 1

   • Go to AXIS -> "Level 1" tab -> Enroll in any of the courses to get started

Upon completion of your Level 1 orientation course a senior mentor will review your training and answer any questions you have. Congratulations on completing the first level of the CAP Senior Program!
